LAT - insulating floor batten
The battens are designed to improve the sound insulation and vibration isolation of your existing floor. The battens are placed on the floor at a fixed distance from each other. Either:
- a lost formwork is attached, after which the screed is poured onto it. (wet version)
- or two plates of OSB laid within which a heavy foil has been incorporated. (dry version)
